HS10 is a great base prep wax, but also a great training wax. Ideal in warm conditions, typically during spring skiing. For racing, we recommend going with a top coat as the final layer. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. It's important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Recommended iron temp: 150°C (302°F). Ski cleaner for cleaning ski bases and removing wax and klister. First remove as much wax as possible using a scraper. Dampen a piece of Fiberlene with ski cleaner and rub until the wax/dirt is dissolved. Wipe with dry Fiberlene. The active ingredient in this liquid ski cleaner is low-aromatic hydrocarbon, which has a good effect on grease and dirt. The aerosol has a long shelf life and the ski cleaner is less flammable and less environmentally harmful than most other ski cleaning products. Practically odorless.

It is important that the scraper is sharp at all times. This makes it easy and effective to work on the base surface. The less sharp the scraper is, the more pressure is required. This may negatively affect the properties of the base. Sharpen the scraper using Swix T0408, T410 and T412-220.
