Setting your children up with ski or snowboard gear for the season is easy. We do all the hard work so you can focus on family fun in the snow. Omer and Bob's offers a few junior lease outfitting options:
Lease excellent quality Atomic Jr. skis with Solomon bindings or Volkl Jr. skis with Marker bindings, Rossignol boots and Scott poles. No more pawing through ski swaps hoping to find the proper skis and boots. Let our expert ski and boot fitters do the work at a fraction of the cost of new equipment. Bring your kids in for ski, boot and pole sizing. Then allow our technicians a couple of days to mount and/or adjust the bindings to your child's boot size, height, weight and ability level. Come pick up the gear, and all you have to do is get your kiddies to the slopes.

Let our expert board and boot fitters do the work at a fraction of the cost of new equipment. Bring your kids in for board, boot and binding sizing. Then allow our technicians a day to mount and/or adjust the bindings to your child's boot size and height. Come pick up the gear, and all you have to do is get your kiddies to the slopes.

Purchase a new ski package from Omer & Bob's great selection at discounted prices. If the ski package and/or boots need to be returned in one calendar year, 50% of the purchase price will be credited towards new ski equipment; a 40% credit will be given after two years. After three years credit will be given at our discretion. The program assumes equipment is returned in good condition.

Purchase a new snowboard package from Omer & Bob's great selection at discounted prices. If the board package and/or boots need to be returned in one calendar year, 40% of the purchase price will be credited towards new board equipment; a 30% credit will be given after two years. After three years credit will be given at our discretion. The program assumes equipment is returned in good condition.

What happens if my child outgrows her lease boots in the middle of the season?
With a junior boot fit we err on the side of too large versus too small if there is any question. If the boots become too small during the season, simply bring them back in and we'll gladly swap your lease boots for the next larger size.
Does my child need poles?
Beginning skiers do not need poles, as they will focus on basic turning technique first. Poles can complicate and confuse younger skiers and generally provide no benefit until technique develops. They are appropriate for intermediate and advanced skiers, however. Together we'll make this determination initially. If you decide that poles are needed in the middle of the season, just come on in and pick some up.
How old is too old for the junior purchase/lease programs?
As far as the skis are concerned (and this similarly applies to snowboards), if one or more of the following are true the child will be beyond our junior lease program: more than 12 years old, weighing over 130lbs, over 5 feet tall or having a size 6+ foot. We will certainly do our best to accomodate special circumstances (an 8 year-old with a large shoe size, for example) if at all possible. Come in and talk to us if there is any question.
