OK, so that February snow forecast has not worked out like it was supposed to. We're not giving up on some big storms coming to close out the season , but we are starting to think about bike season. Here is the latest list of Sale bikes we have in stock. A lot of 2012 bikes are already built up and ready to go as well.

Our Friend Josh Fox of the Single chair weather blog has been telling us for a while that the snow will be coming in Feb and the latest forecasting runs are starting to look pretty good. Our showing of the Banff Mountain Film Festival will be here at the Lebanon Opera House Feb 1, 2012 7pm. We always end up with a amazing selection of films as a lot of you can attest. Tickets are here at the shop or at the Opera House: $20 general admission or $17 if you are a student (ID required).

Bring by your old Skis, boards, or Ski/board boots (11/7 -11/10) and we'll try and find a buyer for them this weekend (11/11-11/13) There will be lots of good deals for those looking to get into the sport or needing something in a different size. Our swap over to winter mode is just about complete and so that means that we are ready to open up Sundays for the winter season. So starting this Sunday 11/6 you can shop with us 11 to 4 on Sundays throughout the winter season.

Tickets are now for sale at the store for "One for the Road" Teton Gravity Research's new movie that will be showing at Whaleback October 28th. There will be two showings 6pm and 8pm and tickets are $8.

What is team night? A great time to get your Cross Country Ski racers (school or club teams) their equipment for the upcoming season. You get big discounts on equipment ordered that night, manufacturers reps are on hand to give advice, and cider and cookies are served besides. Time is 6:30pm to 8:30pm. A lot of the nicer equipment will not be available later in the season so you will want to put your order in now.

This is going to be fun, we are doing our first "Bring a kid mountain biking day". This international event is put on by IMBA each year. We will meet at the French's Ledges trail head (at Plainfield School) Saturday Oct 1st at 4pm. This will be a ride that will be fun for kids that have not been on a trail before as well as those more experienced. We will be splitting into groups based on ability so that no one gets in too far over their head. See the rest of the details on our calender on the right of this page.
